新源县野苹果林下土壤形成过程主要有腐殖质化过程、粘化过程、钙化过程.土壤风化程度低,粘土矿物以伊犁石为主,粘粒为3.03—3、16.为3.98—4.16.R2O3沿剖面无明显移动.均腐殖质性.Rh=0.33.C/H为11.1—11.6.为1.52—2.13,E4值2.40—2.62.土壤分类学上属于均腐殖质土纲.
