In this extension to Lewis-Leslie matrix model(Lewis [1942] and Leslie[1945].etc.)

we replace the elements of a matrix by some intervals and obtain a.Lewis-Leslie interval matrix model.moreover.we established some sufficient and necessary conditions.for the growth and decline of the population described by the model.This kind of model can be applied in those ecological studies in which it is difficult to identify some key parameters except their boundaries.
