作者根据运算结果对这两个属的分合问题、属下分类等级及其亲缘关系等问题进行了讨论。
A numerical taxonomic study of silene and melandrium are presented.For the sake of analyzing the resemblances between the 21 species or OTU's selected at random from the Silene and melandrium
there are 13 OTU's in Silene and 8 OTU's in Melandrium.A summation of 35 characters was em- ploged in the numerical analyses.Raw data for each character were given equal weighting by condensa- tion in order to have adequate comparisons
and the characters were converted to 11 states.The charac- ters used in this study largely morphological
and some morphology of pollen.The estimation of the dis- tans coefficent and correlation coefficient between each pair or OTU's was estabished.The clustering technique used was unweighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages (UPGMA). According to the results
all OTU's are mainly divided into 2 sets:A and B(Fig.1&Fig.2). The A is Silene
the B in Melandrium the combining level of this two groups is very low.The results are the same as the results of morphological classification.For this reason
Silene and Melandrium ought to exist on one's own.In this paper
the problem of taxonomical grade under genus discussed.
