we consider an animal RVF transmission model with periodic coefficients. The animals mainly refer to cattle
sheep and so on here. And we assumed that fertility of animals is a periodic function related to the season.Meanwhile it can be assumed that capacity of the infectious vectors mosquitoes is also a periodic function follows the seasonal change. The basic reproduction number R0 is defined for this model. Our analysis results indicate that the disease-free periodic solution E0 is globally asymptotically stable and the RVF disease dies out if R0< 1. On the contrary
the disease is uniformly persistent if R0> 1.
