AP2/ERF transcription family factors play an important role in plant growth
reproduction and interactions with the environment. According to the number of domains
the AP2/ERF family is divided into two subfamilies
AP2 and ERF. This study reviews the research progress on the gene structure
functionand complex regulatory networks and mechanisms among the major members of the AP2 subfamily.
