守恒量的存在

意味着所研究的系统具有一定的对称性。守恒量的导出

一般有两条途径

一是直接研究运动方程的对称性(变換下的不变性);二是惯用的方法

要求系统的拉氏函数或作用量在变換下不变(如Noether定理)。有的还对拉氏函数添加一散度项的不变性。文献[2]指出

In the absence of charges and Currents

Maxwell's equations are invariant under the transformation E'=Ecosθ+Bsinθ

B'=-Esinθ+Bcosθ.Instead of the Noether's theorm

we use the symmetry properties of field equtions theory of Lee Tze-ping

and obtain the same result as M. G. Clkin's for the corresponding Conserved quntity

which is proportion 1 to the difference in the number of right and left circularly polarized photons in the field.
