A new dielectric resonator construction is described. This resonator consists of a high dielectric constant resonator element mounted on a lowloss dielectric mount
a low dielectric disk set on the Resonator element. The resonant frequency tuning is made by varying the thick of dielectric constant of the dielectric disk. The TE-{01} mode resonant frequencies are analyzed through dielectric wave guide mode application. Less than 3 percent analytical error is presented in comparison with the experimental data for practical resonator.
