Aα-hexylene/α-dodecene/α-octylene copolymer was synthesized by solution polymerization with TiCl4 / Al(i-Bu)3 Composite catalyst andα-olefin monomers.Effects of the polymerization conditions on drag reduction rate were investigated.The experimental resuslts showed that the drag reduction rate could up to 54.11%under the optimum condition of catalyst TiCU 0.06g

dissolvent(nhexane) 10 mL and initial reaction temperature-10℃.The IR、XRD and ~1HNMR results showed the DRA was a-olefin polymer with low crystallinity.
