摘要

研究中亚史地

经常会遇到“葱岭”和“帕米尔”这两个地名。很久以来

人们以为古代的葱岭

即现在的帕米尔的范围

因此在许多文献中总是说:“帕米尔古称葱岭”

或“葱岭即今之帕米尔高原”

好象帕米尔和葱岭两者是一回事。诚然

这两个地名

有相同的一面

但就范围和自然环境来讲大不相同。本文的目的主要在于澄清这种混淆。

Abstract

Studing the history and geography of Central Asia

we can find two placenames-Cong Ling Ridges and pamirs frequently. We an also fin Cong Ling Ridgesin chinese classics and pamirs in modern literature: Meancohile they were somewhatconfused for a long time. Although they are some what similar

there are greaterdeflerences between them. The purpose of this paper is to clear eep this confussion.
