新构造运动与地震之间的关系已引起人们的密切关注.本文通过地质、地貌和沉积物的资料
探讨乌鲁木齐南山山前地区地貌与新构造运动。资料表明
此区的地质、地貌、沉积物的一些特征主要是由断裂的右旋动引起
断裂的活动趋于强烈。断裂活动的水平幅度大于垂直幅度
不同地段上的活动强度和频度都有差异
地貌在时间和空间上的分布及变化规律受新构造应力场的控制。
Abstract
The relationship of the neotectonic motion and earthquake has attracted geo- scientist's attention.In this paper
the Landform and neotectonic motion in front region of the Wulumuqi south mountain is discussed on the basis of geological
geomorphic and sedimentary data. Data show that some geological
geomorphic and sedimentary feature in this region are caused by the right-Lateril displacement of the fault mainly
and the activity of the fault is stronger then before. The horizontal range of the fault motion is more Large then vertical range. The intensity and frequency are different in different zone
The distribution and change of landform in time and space is controlled by the neotectonic stress field.
