EST and MDH isoenzymes in the muscle sample of five different species
which belong to two different families
of grasshoppers are studied.They are Acrida oxycephala(Pall.)
Euthystrira brachyptera brachyptera(Ocsk.)
Chrysochraon dispar major Uv.
Gomphomastax clavata(Ostr.) and Leptoptemis gracilis(Ev.).All of the isoen- zymes are polymorphic.Seven loci and ninety alleles are analysed depending on the relative mobiliity (Rf) of zymogram.Allelic frequencies
genetic distance and divergence time are calculated according to Nei's formula.Clustered analysis is made.Three results are obtained: 1.There is zymogram difference among the five species as well as among individuals of a same species.But there is no zymogram difference between male and female; 2.All the five species and the seven loci express gene differentiation and genetic polymorphism; 3.The relationship and the divergence time among the five species are ascertaind preliminarily.
