A perturbative method was used to study the time evolution of a coherent state interacting with a group of two-level atoms via one-photon and two-photon processes in the Dicke model. It is shown that
as in the one-photon and two-photon models
amplitude kth-power squeezing is produced over the initial short time and the amplitude kth-power squeezing state of the field are minimum uncertainty states in the quadrature components of the kth-power of the field amplitude if the atoms are only initially completely de-excited.
