摘要

采用定性与定量相结合的方法，通过对库尔勒市的自然与社会经济条件、现实的发展机遇的综合分析，选用全疆１８个城市的１４个具有代表性的城市发展指标，用因子分析方法进行对比分类．结合库尔勒市自身所具有的特殊的优势，得出库尔勒市发展成为新疆第二大城市是可行的结论．

Abstract

Based on the analysis of natural

social and economic condition

together with the developmental oppor-tunity of Kuerle city. Adopting the qualitative and qualitative method

this paper selects 14 typical indexesabout urban development in 18 cities all over Xinjiang

and applies the Method of Factor Analysis to contrastandclassify. Combined with the special abvantage of Kuerle city and draws a conclusion of Kuerle city to bethe second largest city of Xinjiang.
