In order to ensure the safe operation of the train under strong wind and sand environment
this paper discusses the in?uence of windshield wall layout on the ?ow ?eld characteristics around high-speed trains.With the help of the CFD method and the DPM model
the other variables caused by the presence or absence of the windshield wall were compared and analyzed
and numerical simulation of wind and sand of different strengths through the windshield wall under the strong wind and sand environment. The characteristics of the leeward side?ow ?eld of the windshield wall and the response of the windshield wall structure parameters to strong sand were studied. The results show that when the windshield is not installed
when the sand-bearing air?ow encounters the embankment and forms a partition at the shoulder of the embankment. The wind speed increases sharply above the shoulder of the windward side
and the erosion of the shoulder is serious. After the windshield is installed
the sand-carrying air?ow encounters the phenomenon that the windshield forms a speed divisions
and the high-speed zone is moved forward from the shoulder of the embankment to the windshield wall area
the windshield wall also plays a role of purifying the air?ow and reducing the number of sand particles deposited on the track; when the wind-carrying air?ow with different wind speeds passes through the windshield wall
the vertical pro?le of the wind speed is roughly the same
showing a trend of increasing exponential growth after slow ?uctuations ?rst
and then gradually approaching the initial wind speed.
