增生造山带位于汇聚板块边缘
是地壳再造和生长的关键部位.南天山造山带作为中亚造山带典型的增生型造山带之一
古生代期间参与到中亚造山带形成历史.本文对源自南天山造山带南部河流中的82颗代表性碎屑锆石进行了Lu-Hf同位素组成分析
并结合已有的地质资料对南天山造山带古生代地壳生长和演化规律进行了探讨.分析结果显示:460 Ma~390 Ma碎屑锆石的εHf(t)值有正有负
说明南天山造山带早古生代的岩浆活动既有前寒武纪基底岩石的再循环
也有地幔物质的加入
而320 Ma~260 Ma碎屑锆石的εHf(t)值绝大多数为负值
且对应的二阶段模式年龄主要以古元古代一中元古代(2.1 Ga~1.2 Ga)的年龄为主
表明晚古生代南天山造山带的岩浆活动主要为古元古代一中元古代地壳的再造
直接来源于亏损地幔的较少.
Accretionary orogens
formed on the edge of convergent plate
are primary hosts of growth and loss in the continental crust.The South Tianshan orogenic belt is one of the typical accretive orogenic belts in the Central Asia orogenic belt
which was involved in the formation history of the Central Asia orogenic belt during the Paleozoic.In this study
based on Lu-Hf isotopic compositions of 82 representative zircons newly obtained from detrital zircons in modern river
we also combined massive previously published data to discuss the Paleozoic crustal growth and evolution of the South Tianshan orogenic belt.εHf(t) values of the Early Paleozoic(390-460 Ma) detrital zircons with both positive and negative values
indicated that magmatic activities in the South Tianshan orogenic belt included both the recycling of Precambrian basement rocks and the addition of new mantle materials;most of the εHf(t) is negative since Late Paleozoic(320-260 Ma) and the two-stage model ages are mainly the Paleoproterozoic to Mesoproterozoic(2.1~1.2 Ga)
indicated that the magmations are most derived from the Paleoproterozoic to Mesoproterozoic crust with little addition of depleted mantle.
