the mechanical properties of the composite engineering board were studied by adding wire mesh. The results show that the mechanical properties of the reinforced composite engineering board are better than those of the unreinforced composite engineering board. Then
finite element software(ABAQUS) is used to simulate the reinforced composite engineering board. The error of the simulation results is small
which proves that the simulation is efective. The magnitude and distribution of horizontal stress of engineering plate under axial compression are revealed by simulation
and the correlation between surface pressure and horizontal displacement of engineering plate warping is analyzed. The simulation results can provide guidance for the optimization of engineering plate and the design and analysis of isolation bearing. Finally
the mechanical properties and cost of composite engineering plate and steel commonly used in seismic isolation bearings are compared and analyzed. The results show that the basic mechanical properties and comprehensive economic benefits of reinforced composite engineering plate are better
and it is suitable to replace the steel plate in traditional seismic isolation bearings for rural housing construction.
